The Crescent Bar Wifi Network is a
Open Area Network it requires authentication
To Our Secure Server Payment center.

To set up an account open your
laptop, have your wireless card or application
search for available wireless networks.

Locate the SSID
OacNetHotSpot and
say connect to a unsecured area network.

Then open your IE browser, a
login page will show in a few moments. Then select
the plan you wish to activate for services, and use
either Visa ,
MasterCard, American
Express, Discover,or
Debt Cards with Visa or
MasterCard logos for payments. then click
Access Internet, say Yes to the following page to access
the secure area network. ( example below of login
page).

Then fill in the information
requested by our secure server, then press submit to active your account
with OAC Networks.

When your account is approved you
will be re-directed to OAC Networks Support page,
please read the information to familiarize your self
with our policies. You
may now begin to browse and search the web or get
your email. Once you have connected you may access
the internet with
any of the Crescent Bar area signals throughout the
resort.

arrow tab to view other plans and services as seen
below.

(IMPORTANT NOTE):
for those of you that
have a user name or password from a Home Owner
rental unit, simply select the
arrow down
on Payment Method
(only)
to display "User Name &
Password (local Authentication)"
Then click "Access Internet"
you will then see the page where you can enter
in the User name and Password given to you for you
rental unit. You will then be re-directed to your
home page.
"View below for User Name &
Password"

Email: If you use Microsoft Outlook
or Microsoft Outlook Express and wish to send mail with
these programs, please change your outgoing mail
server in your email account from the tool bar
in the program you use and select accounts, then from the
general tab, highlight the email account you wish to change
and select properties on the right side. Find the servers
tab on the top and select it. Then look for the OUTGOING
mail area, or SMTP outgoing mail settings, and change this to
read "mail.oacnet.com" ( do not put in
the quotes) save the
information and you are ready to send mail on our network.
If you are unable to Log on, or
you have no signal from your Wireless Icon on your
computer then Right click the Icon and disable
your wireless connection then enable it. This should
enable your wireless connection again and you will be
back on line. You may need to sit out on the deck of
your unit to establish a connection. Many laptops have
different types of wireless technology in which case you
can experience different signal strengths and access
capabilities. Please be sure your laptop has the
latest drivers for your wireless device, in many cases
this may be the cause of a low strength and signal.
If you are still unable to get
back on line the Left click the wireless Icon on
the bottom of your screen, and click search for wireless
networks. This should give you information on your
screen in the box that Crescent Bar Wireless Network is
available. Simply click on it to select the wireless
network, and you should see your signal bar on the
bottom of the screen turn green. You should be able to
get back online.
If you are still unable to get back
on to the internet call us at 1-509-663-0109 or
1-888-865-4074 and we
will attempt to help you solve the issue on the phone.
You may also have a friend, or neighbor email us at
cservice@oacnet.com we do respond to these e-mails
promptly. In some cases a service tech may be needed to
come to your home or location, please allow 24 hrs.

Refunds: All refunds
require the Mac Address of your wireless device
you are using on the system when you ordered services. A
technician will verify your account and usage before a
refund will be authorized. (No Exceptions To This
Policy)
